Who We Are

A Trusted Partner in Technical Ceramic Manufacturing Since 1966

For more than 60 years, Associated Ceramics has partnered with engineers, OEMs, and manufacturers to produce custom technical ceramic components for demanding applications.

As a family-owned company, we've built our reputation by delivering consistent quality, dependable service, and the engineering expertise customers need to solve complex manufacturing challenges.

Today, we manufacture millions of technical ceramic components annually for customers across North America and around the world, supporting industries where quality, consistency, and reliability cannot be compromised.

Whether supporting a new prototype or producing millions of components, we approach every project with the same commitment to precision, consistency, and long-term partnership.

Our Mission

To help manufacturers build better products by delivering precision ceramic components engineered for performance, manufactured with consistency, and supported by responsive engineering expertise.

We believe the best manufacturing partnerships begin long before production starts. By working closely with customers during the design process, we help optimize material selection, tooling, and manufacturing methods to improve performance, reduce production challenges, and deliver long-term value.

Our Story

Associated Ceramics was founded in 1966 by Raymond Lassinger, who built the company from the ground up around a simple goal: manufacture high-quality ceramic components that customers could depend on. More than 60 years later, we’ve built on that foundation with decades of technical expertise, manufacturing experience, and a deep understanding of what it takes to produce consistent, reliable ceramic components.

Three generations of the Lassinger family have helped build and grow Associated Ceramics, and we remain independently owned and family-run today. No one outside our family has ever owned or operated the company.

That continuity matters to our customers. The people you work with at Associated Ceramics are the people making decisions about the company’s future. We’re personally invested in building relationships that last, understanding your needs, and earning your trust with every project—not simply fulfilling an order.

As we look to the next generation, our focus remains the same: build a stronger company, invest in our capabilities, and continue being the kind of manufacturing partner our customers can count on for decades to come.

Our Philosophy

Every ceramic component we manufacture becomes part of someone else's product.

That means every dimension, every material selection, every tolerance, and every delivery date matters.

We understand that our components often operate in environments where failure isn't an option. That's why we emphasize careful engineering, disciplined manufacturing processes, and consistent quality at every stage of production.

Success isn't measured simply by the parts we ship—it's measured by the confidence our customers have when they install them.

Engineering Collaboration from Day One

The best ceramic components are developed through collaboration.

Our in-house ceramic engineers, manufacturing engineers, tool designers, and production specialists work together to help customers transform concepts into manufacturable, production-ready components. Whether refining an existing design or developing a completely new solution, our team works to simplify manufacturing, improve performance, and reduce long-term production costs whenever possible.

With engineering, tooling, machining, and laboratory capabilities under one roof, we're able to support customers throughout the entire development process—from prototype through production.

Why Customers Continue to Partner with Us

Many of our customer relationships have lasted for decades because they know what to expect from Associated Ceramics.

Consistent Quality

Our manufacturing processes are designed to produce reliable ceramic components that perform consistently from one production run to the next.

Dependable Delivery

We understand that production schedules depend on reliable suppliers. Our customers trust us to communicate clearly, deliver on our commitments, and support their manufacturing timelines.

Responsive Engineering Support

When technical challenges arise, our engineering team works alongside customers to identify practical, manufacturable solutions.

Long-Term Partnerships

We're focused on building lasting relationships by earning trust through transparency, responsiveness, and consistent results—not simply completing individual orders.

Proudly Made in the USA

Associated Ceramics proudly manufactures all of our technical ceramic components in the United States.

Domestic manufacturing allows us to provide responsive engineering support, maintain rigorous quality standards, and offer greater production visibility throughout every project. It also helps our customers reduce supply chain risk while benefiting from dependable communication and shorter lead times.

Quality Built Into Every Component

Quality isn't something we inspect at the end of production—it's built into every stage of the manufacturing process.

Associated Ceramics is ISO 9001:2015 certified, reflecting our commitment to maintaining a rigorous quality management system and continuously improving our manufacturing processes.

Our quality capabilities include:

  • ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing
